Protocol of Cooperation between Majilis and Grand National Assembly signed

Chairman of the Majilis Yerlan Koshanov met with Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey Mustafa Shentop as part of a working visit to Turkey, Elkz reports with reference to the press service of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Speaker of the Majilis conveyed words of condolences to the fraternal people in connection with the tragic consequences of the earthquake. And he said that on behalf of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, it is planned to build a number of social facilities in the areas destroyed by the earthquake.

Yerlan Koshanov stressed the special role of inter-parliamentary cooperation in the further development of relations between the two countries.

"Today, the interaction of our parliamentary committees and friendship groups brings positive results. We must continue to work actively in this direction. This will make it possible to exchange experience in legislative work. We are ready for comprehensive cooperation," Yerlan Koshanov said.
