Prospects for developing cooperation between Kazakh enterprises and "Jordan Phosphate Mines Company" discussed in Amman

The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Talgat Shaldanbay, met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Jordan Phosphate Mines Company" (JPMC) of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Muhammad Al-Thneibat, El.kz cites Kazakh Foreign Ministry.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation between JPMC and Kazakh enterprises, including opportunities for technology exchange, phosphate ore processing, as well as participation of the Kazakh side in JPMC’s production projects in Jordan.
The importance of establishing direct contacts between relevant government agencies and business organizations of the two countries, in particular between "Kazphosphate" LLP and JPMC, was noted.
Ambassador Shaldanbay emphasized interest in developing a mutually beneficial partnership with JPMC and expressed his readiness to facilitate the organization of a visit by a Kazakh delegation to hold substantive negotiations and visit the company's production facilities.
The parties agreed to continue engagement at the level of relevant agencies and companies in order to identify specific areas for future cooperation.
