A privately owned island in the East Kazakhstan Region has been offered for sale at a price of 10 mln dollars, El.kz reports.
The announcement was published on social media and immediately attracted significant public attention. According to the seller, the property is under private ownership and has already been consolidated into a single investment project.
What is known about the island
According to the listing, the island covers an area of 22.5 hectares. It is located on a large body of water in the East Kazakhstan Region; however, its location has not been disclosed.
The seller states that detailed information about the property will be provided exclusively to prospective investors. This approach is attributed to the confidential nature of the transaction.
Proposed development
The island is being marketed as a site with substantial tourism development potential. According to the owners, the property is suitable for the implementation of large-scale projects in the tourism and hospitality sectors.
Potential development concepts include a luxury resort, a private members’ club, and a large-scale tourism complex. The listing emphasizes that the site’s natural landscape, privacy, and location make it an attractive opportunity for long-term investment.
The asking price is 10 mln dollars.
This is not the first time that a privately owned island in the E Kazakhstan region has been offered for sale. Several years ago, Goose Island, located on the Bukhtarma Reservoir, was also listed on the market.
At the time, local authorities explained that the land parcel was privately owned. The land had initially been allocated under a lease agreement and was subsequently acquired by the lessee in accordance with the applicable legislation.
