Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov held meetings with the heads of the Italian companies Maire Tecnimont and Ansaldo Energia on the implementation of joint projects, El.kz reports.

During the talks with Ansaldo Energia CEO Fabrizio Fabbri, the possibilities of improving Kazakhstan's energy infrastructure using innovative technologies were discussed.

Investment projects in the field of hydrocarbon processing were discussed with the President of Maire Tecnimont Alessandro Bernini. The company expressed its readiness to participate in the construction of plants for the production of polyethylene, butadiene and sustainable aviation fuel. The production of environmentally friendly aviation fuel, in turn, will be an important step for the development of green technologies in Kazakhstan, reducing carbon emissions and improving the environmental safety of flights.

Olzhas Bektenov stressed the importance of diversifying the economy of Kazakhstan and announced the government's readiness to support foreign investors at all stages of project implementation. He noted that such infrastructure initiatives will strengthen Kazakhstan's position in the international arena and contribute to the development of technologies with high added value.
