Prime Minister of Kazakhstan holds meeting with Egmont Group Executive Secretary

Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov held a meeting with Jerome Beaumont, Egmont Group Executive Secretary. The parties discussed cooperation within the areas previously outlined during the negotiations between President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the Elżbieta Franków-Jaśkiewicz, Chair of the Egmont Group, El.kz cites primeminister.kz.
Jerome Beaumont highly commended the reforms being carried out in the country and expressed readiness to further develop the partnership.
Olzhas Bektenov emphasized the significance of the Egmont Group as a key international platform in ensuring financial security and reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s commitment to international AML/CFT standards.
Following the meeting, the participants stressed the importance of further strengthening cooperation to ensure global financial stability.
