Prime Minister Bektenov instructs to attract private investment in healthcare
Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov instructed to work out the issue of attracting private investment in the healthcare sector, the press service of the Government reports. He noted the need to introduce world experience in this area,El.kz reports with reference to the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
"Many countries in a difficult economic situation are actively attracting private investment in healthcare. Such world experience in the construction, equipping of medical facilities and their management in the near future should become a priority measure for the development of infrastructure in this area," the Head of Government emphasized.
The Prime Minister also focused on the achievements of a number of leading regions in terms of attracted funds - Turkestan and Atyrau regions, Astana and Almaty. Akims of Mangystau region, Ulytau and Zhetysu, where investment indicators are minimal, were instructed to pay close attention to this issue.
The introduction of private investment in health care should help modernize infrastructure, improve the quality of medical services and ensure access to modern technologies.
