Prices for socially important food products decreased in Kazakhstan
During the meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin, the results of the prices for socially important food products for the first half of the year in Kazakhstan were summed up, El.kz reports with reference to primeminister.
Over the past six months, there has been a growth of prices for socially important food products: in June, the average price index decreased by 0.3%, in general since the beginning of the year - by 0.2%.
According to First Vice Minister of Trade and Integration Aizhan Bizhanova, over the past week, prices have decreased by an average of another 0.1%, in particular, for 9 goods: carrots (1.5%), buckwheat (0.8%), flour (0.7%), milk (0.5%), chicken meat (0.2%), rice, beef, salt and sugar (0.1%). A decrease in prices is noted in 10 regions. The most significant - in Mangistau (0.4%) and Pavlodar (0.3%).
The Vice Minister of Agriculture Yerbol Taszhurekov stressed that by August 1, the regions need to finance agricultural producers as part of the forward purchase of the autumn harvest so that farmers receive preferential funds in a timely manner.
