– Kazakhstan regards Serbia as a very important strategic partner in Europe. We have done a great deal to strengthen our cooperation across many areas, first and foremost in the economic sphere, as well as in humanitarian and cultural exchanges. A direct flight between Astana and Belgrade has been launched, and our trade relations are developing very successfully. More than 60 Serbian companies operate successfully in Kazakhstan. We share common approaches to major international issues. I believe we have established a solid and effective foundation for our cooperation. I am confident that your visit is of great importance in giving additional momentum to our friendly relations, – said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

I would be pleased to welcome you to Serbia in the near future, – he emphasized.

At the same time, the issue of granting fifth freedom air rights to the Kazakh airline SCAT remains unresolved. I am confident that we will be able to resolve this matter together. We would be pleased to welcome reliable construction companies and investors from your country, which would not only enhance Serbia’s investment attractiveness but also contribute to the development of cultural and tourism ties. For our part, we will make every effort to support Serbian entrepreneurs seeking to invest in your country, – said Aleksandar Vučić.
