President receives Deputy Prime Minister

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Deputy Prime Minister Yeraly Tugzhanov, El.kz reports with reference to Akorda.

Eraly Tugzhanov reported to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev that within the framework of direct measures of the Program, according to the results of the 1st half of the year, the salaries of 850 thousand public sector employees, 240 thousand representatives of production personnel of the quasi-public sector, 1.2 million employees of business structures were increased.

The President was informed that the Government fulfills all social obligations. Together with local executive bodies, a set of measures of social integration into the economy of citizens without income is being implemented. Jobs are created for them, opportunities for advanced training, acquisition of new skills are provided.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, as part of the implementation of investment projects until 2025, it is planned to create more than 2 million new jobs, of which 444 thousand in 2022. As of July 1, 249,000 jobs were created, or 56% of the annual plan.

Together with akimats, a pool of investment projects until 2025 has been formed in the manufacturing industry, petrochemistry, and the agricultural sector. The list includes about 847 projects with the creation of more than 266 thousand jobs.

It was also reported on the extension of the duration of internships and the growth of salaries for the projects "Youth Practice" and "First Workplace", an increase in the size of grants for the implementation of new business ideas for young people. Opportunities are being created for persons from socially vulnerable segments of the population to receive stable incomes, and a mechanism has been developed to promote the employment of women.

The Head of State noted the importance of increasing the incomes of the population, which directly depends on the achievement of the goals provided in the national projects. The government was instructed to keep this issue under special control. The President believes that ensuring the growth of citizens' incomes should become a priority in the work of all central and local executive bodies.
