Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov met at the airport of Astana President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdymukhamedov, who arrived on his first state visit to Kazakhstan, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.

It is expected that during the visit, the Presidents of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Serdar Berdimuhamedov will discuss a wide range of issues of interaction, as well as topical issues on the regional agenda.

In addition, S. Berdimuhamedov will take part in the meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State and the summit "Central Asia - Russia".
