President of the International Esports Federation (IESF), Vlad Marinescu, has arrived in Astana to participate in the intl Games of the Future 2026 tournament. He was welcomed at the capital’s international airport by Serik Zharasbayev, Vice Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, El.kz reports citing the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
An official welcome ceremony was organized for the President of the International Esports Federation at Astana International Airport. As part of the reception, Mr. Marinescu was invited to treat traditional Kazakh cuisine, providing an opportunity to experience the country’s rich culinary heritage.
The event will gather traditional sports disciplines, esports, advanced technologies, and innovation. The tournament will provide a unique intl platform where athletes will compete across both physical sports and digital competition formats.
The Future Games 2026 international tournament will take place in Astana from 29 July till 9 August 2026.
