A formal welcoming ceremony for President Paul Kagame of the Republic of Rwanda, who arrived in Kazakhstan on an official visit, took place at the Akorda Presidential Palace, El.kz cites Aqorda.

The two leaders introduced members of their official delegations to each other. The commander of the honor guard delivered a ceremonial report to the presidents, and the national anthems of both countries were played. This was followed by bilateral talks between the leaders.
