President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev meets with UAE Minister of State for Defense Affairs

The meeting focused on prospects for cooperation between the two countries in the areas of security and military education, El.kz reports via Aqorda.
The Head of State highlighted the achievements of the United Arab Emirates in the defense industry and emphasized the opportunities for exchanging experience in advanced technologies and innovations.
The President also underlined the dynamic development of relations between Astana and Abu Dhabi in all areas and expressed readiness to further strengthen the bilateral strategic partnership.
In turn, the Minister conveyed to the Head of State greetings from UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He also expressed confidence that this visit would give new impetus to cooperation in the military sphere.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev awarded Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Fadhel Al Mazrouei, the Order of Dostyk, Second Class, for his significant contribution to strengthening and developing cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates.
