Russian cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko has successfully captured the beauty of the night capital of Kazakhstan in a picture taken from the ISS station, El.kz reports.

"With the onset of night, each city changes: some "fall asleep" under its cover, others come to life and shine brighter than stars. The Kazakh capital Astana is just an example . If you look closely, the night outlines of the city resemble a heart in a ring," the official Telegram channel of Roscosmos wrote.
