Pavel Durov to pay official visit to Kazakhstan

The Minister of Digital Development of Kazakhstan, Zhaslan Madiyev, officially invited the founder of Telegram, Pavel Durov, to visit the country, El.kz reports.

The ministry is interested in discussing issues with Durov, including the opening of joint laboratories. Madiyev noted that he follows the development of Telegram and its integration with blockchain technologies and the crypto industry.

Recently, Telegram announced the launch of a platform for blockchain-based applications, which opens up new opportunities for cooperation. Madiyev stressed Kazakhstan's readiness to actively work on the implementation of these high-tech projects.

Pavel Durov previously announced in his Telegram channel plans to visit Central Asia this summer to study the needs of users in the region.
