The Ministry of Education is actively working to create a unified system of psychological services aimed at strengthening and preserving the psychological well-being of children, their parents and teachers. As part of this project, on behalf of the Head of State, psychological support centers are being opened in each region of the country, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Education.

To date, such centers are already operating in 15 regions of the country. This was announced at a briefing at the Central Communications Service by Yuliya Ovechkina, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for the Protection of Children's Rights of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Ministry is actively engaged in improving the qualifications of educational psychologists through the development of psychological support centers.

- To unify the activities of the centers, the Ministry has developed methodological recommendations. These recommendations will help the regions to open centers according to a single model, providing the most comfortable conditions for children. They contain information about the tasks of the centers, the main areas of activity, the recommended staffing table and job descriptions of each specialist. A separate chapter is devoted to material and technical equipment and interior solutions," said Yuliya Ovechkina.

Psychological support centers will become a support for educational psychologists and a place where parents and children can turn for help. It is planned that by the end of the year the centers will be opened in all regions of the country.

The creation of these centers is provided for by the Comprehensive Plan for the Protection of Children from Violence, Suicide Prevention and Ensuring Their Rights and Well-Being for 2023-2025. It is expected that the new system of psychological support will significantly improve the psychological health and well-being of all participants in the educational process.
