Over 2 thousand foreigners violated migration legislation in Pavlodar region
Over 2,000 foreigners have been prosecuted for violating migration legislation in the Pavlodar region, El.kz eports with reference to Polisia.kz.
- 490 foreigners were involved in illegal labor activities and 137 employers were involved in illegal recruitment of foreign labor. For 12 months of 2023, 885 foreigners were admitted to citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan under a simplified procedure. 296 non-payers of alimony out of 384 wanted have been identified, as well as 61 debtors out of 80 wanted, - said the head of the migration service of the police department of the Pavlodar region Daulet Iskakov.
The most popular and socially significant services for the population of Pavlodar region are the documentation of citizens.
During the 12 months of 2023, about 95 thousand residents of the region received identity cards and passports. 853 foreign citizens were granted citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan, while 1,500 people lost their citizenship.
Another 2,571 foreign citizens and stateless persons, including 985 of Kazakh nationality, received permanent residence permits in the region.
At the moment, 8,654 foreigners live in the Pavlodar region, including 6,014 Russian citizens, of which 1,545 are ethnic Kazakhs. Over the past year, 8,569 foreigners entered the region and registered with the police, 43 of them from far abroad and 8,526 from the CIS countries.
