Over 100 researchers from 12 countries arrived in Astana
With the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kazakhstan Museum Congress dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Astana, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the ministry.
More than 100 researchers and museum workers from Armenia, Azerbaijan, China, France, Hungary, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Uzbekistan took part. These are the heads of the leading national museums of the participating countries and international experts of the TURKSOY Council of Museums, members of the National Commission under UNESCO and the International Association of Art Critics, scientists, prominent public figures and leading museum workers, students.
Within the framework of the Congress, plenary sessions, a scientific and practical conference, round tables and training seminars were held. Topical problems of cultural and educational activities and the possibilities of the museum in its implementation were touched upon.
The Congress ended with a ceremony of signing a memorandum with the heads of museums from near and far abroad.
