Ombudsman of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyz Republic sign memorandum of mutual cooperation
Today during a working visit to Istanbul between the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ombudsman of the Kyrgyz Republic was signed a Memorandum on the development of mutual cooperation, El.kz reports.
National human rights defender of the Kyrgyz Republic Atyr Abdrakhmatova noted that cooperation between the two countries will continue not only in the economic, cultural and social spheres, but also in the field of human rights.
The memorandum provides for a number of issues on the observance and protection of the rights of citizens of the two countries. In particular, the parties agreed to hold joint receptions of citizens, monitoring to identify violations of human rights and freedoms, as well as various scientific and practical activities to educate people about the law.
Colleagues expressed their readiness to contribute to the deepening, friendship, trust and mutual understanding between the citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic.
