Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov heard a report on the work of the governmental commission at the plane crash site near the city of Aktau, El.kz reports.
Deputy Prime Minister Kanat Bozumbayev spoke about the progress of the work of the Government Commission, which promptly took action after the plane crash that occurred in Tupkaragan district.
Rescue services have completed search operations. As a result of the tragedy, 38 people died, 29 people were hospitalized. All the victims received the necessary medical care, and highly qualified specialists from Astana, as well as teams from Russia and Azerbaijan, were sent to stabilize their condition.
In addition, the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan, together with the Government of Azerbaijan, is working to establish the reasons of the tragedy.
In the area of the disaster, a local man-made emergency regime is imposed
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov expressed his condolences to the families and friends of the victims. He also stressed that the government provides full medical and social support to the victims and their families.
A hotline has been organized for them, which has already received more than a thousand calls.
In addition, the Prime Minister noted the need to strengthen aviation security in the country. He instructed to conduct an unscheduled audit of the technical condition of airports and aircraft, as well as to improve the training and qualifications of airline crews.
In order to improve the prompt response to air accidents, it is necessary to improve the mechanism of emergency rescue operations and increase the coordination of actions of all interested state bodies.
