Number of grants for college applicants to be increased by 60,000 in Kazakhstan
In the new academic year, the volume of the state educational order in technical and vocational education organizations will be increased by 60 thousand places. Thus, the number of students under the state order will reach 145 thousand people, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On behalf of the Head of State, the state educational order for the provision of free technical and vocational education in in-demand specialties was increased by 60 thousand places from the republican budget. By 2025, students of technical and vocational education will be provided with 100% of the state order," said Darkhan Satanov, chief expert of the Department of Technical and Vocational Education.
The state educational order will increase in technical specialties: geology, mechanical engineering, energy, IT, metallurgy, transport, etc.
