Non-ferrous metallurgy production increased in Kazakhstan

According to the results of the first half of this year, the volume of production in non-ferrous metallurgy increased by 7.6%, El.kz reports with reference to the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
It is noted that in particular, the production of refined copper, gold bullion, silver in granules, refined gold and silver, as well as refined lead and cathode copper has been increased.
"It is planned to launch the Phase-2 gold procesing plant. This enterprise will increase the productivity of treat gold concentrates to 1.2 million tons per year. Accordingly, the annual issue of gold will increase by approximately 13%," the report said.
