A seminar of Chiefs of Mission was held in Hangzhou (China) on the eve of the Asian Games-2023 with the participation of representatives of all 45 Asian countries who will take part in the multi-sport event, El.kz reports with reference to Olympic.kz.

The National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan was represented by the head of the Department of Sports of the NOC of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ilsiyar Kanagatov.

Within the framework of the seminar, all participants were provided with updated information on the organization and holding of the Asian Games-2023. In particular, accreditation of participants, accommodation of athletes and officials, logistics, media activities, etc.

The host also organized a tour of sports facilities, including the stadium opening ceremony. It should be noted that the Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou will be held in 54 arenas. The teams will have 31 training bases at their disposal.

The national teams will be accommodated in the main village, which is located directly in Hangzhou, as well as in five small Olympic villages in Zhejiang province.

"There are 151 days left before the start of the Games. Preparations for the Asian Games have entered the final stage. Therefore, this seminar has become an ideal platform for all participating countries to become more familiar with the policies and all important aspects of the upcoming event," said Song Luzeng, Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia.

The seminar lasted three days. In addition to these topics, the participants also discussed the cultural characteristics of China, the fight against doping, the rules of conduct in the country and environmental protection.
