New mural dedicated to World Nomad Games appeared in Astana
On the eve of the World Nomad Games, which will be held in Astana from September 8 to 14, 2024, a new mural has appeared on the territory of the bridge space in the Triathlon Park of the capital, El.kz reports with reference to Astana news. This art object symbolizes the beginning of the Games, as well as the honor, glory, strength and precision of the nomads.
The World Nomad Games are international sports competitions aimed at preserving and popularizing ethnic sports that convey the cultural heritage and spirit of nomadic life of the peoples of Central Asia. It is expected that more than 2500 participants from 89 countries of the world will take part in the event.
At the World Nomad Games in Astana, 97 sets of medals in 21 sports will be played, which makes this event one of the most significant in the field of ethnic sports in the international arena.
