Kazakh Defense Minister Ruslan Zhaksylykov has been appointed as the head of Federation of Sports and Combat Sambo of Kazakhstan,El.kz news agency reports.
The elections were held at an extraordinary meeting of the Federation of Sports and Combat Sambo in Astana.
"All members of the federation voted unanimously in favor of Ruslan Zhaksylykov. In this post, he replaced Aidos Akzhanov," the message reads.
