New head of education department appointed in Almaty

Sairan Sayfedenov has been appointed head of the Department of Education of the city of Almaty, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the mayor of the city.

By order of the akim of the city of Almaty Yerbolat Dossaev, Sairan Sayfedenov was appointed to the post of head of the education department.

Born in 1974 Sairan Sayfedenov graduated from the Kazakh State Pedagogical University named after Abay, the Almaty University of Continuing Education, the Kazakh University of Railways and Communications.

He began his career in 1997. He worked in the office of the akim of the Almaly district, as well as in the office of the akim of the city, held the positions of deputy akim of the Auezov district, akim of the Nauryzbay district. Over the years, he worked as deputy head of the social welfare department, akim of the Auezov district of Almaty.

From May 2023 until his current appointment, he worked as the head of the state assets department of the city of Almaty.
