New composition of Public Council begins its work in ASPR

The meeting of Public Council took place at the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan in a new composition,El.kz reports citing the agency's press service.

According to the Chairman of the Agency, Zhandos Shaimardanov, the previous composition successfully fulfilled its tasks under the leadership of ex-deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament Marat Kusainov and Madi Takiyev

During the meeting, the Chairman of the Public Council was elected, its regulations and work plan for the year 2024 were approved, and the key directions of the Agency's activities were presented. Alkhan Baimenov, a state and public figure and the Chairman of the Management Committee of the Regional Hub in the field of public service, was elected as the Chairman of the Public Council.

“As representatives of society, we will apply all our potential, knowledge and experience to support strategic planning," he said.

Council members Turghan Koszhanov, Zhanybek Aigazin, Kuanysh Zhaikov, Alkhan Baidusenov, Banu Nurgazieva, Andrey Ershov, and Maksat Mukhanov also commented on the Council's work.

It is important to note that the new members of the Council have wide professional experience and practical skills in various areas, including economic and sociological research. Considering the potential of such a team of experts, it is expected that the Council's work will be organized in a new format to enhance the role and efficiency of the Agency's activities.
