National Archive of Kazakhstan signs memorandum with fund of Saudi Arabia

The Chairman of the Committee for Archives, Documentation, and Book Affairs Rustam Ali held meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Kazakhstan Faisal Hanif Al Qahtani, and the CEO of the King Abdulaziz Foundation Mohammed Alshuwaier,El.kz reports.

According to the Ministry of Culture and Information, the parties discussed issues related to the implementation of joint projects, exchange of experiences, preservation of documentary heritage, digitization, and the development of international cooperation in the field of scientific research.

As part of the meeting, the National Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan and King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives signed a memorandum of cooperation.

In addition, the delegation members got acquainted with the activities of the National Archive of Kazakhstan, including work on the preservation of collections, restoration of manuscripts, and digitization.
