Murat Abenov offered to become freelance adviser on protecting rights of patients
Health Minister Azhar Giniyat met with a well-known public figure, member of the National Council of Public Trust under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, chairman of the Consumer Rights Protection Coalition Murat Abenov. The head of the Ministry of Health initiated his nomination as a freelance adviser on protecting the rights of patients, El.kz reports with reference to press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As A. Giniyat noted at the beginning of the meeting with the participation of the directors of structural divisions of the department, the Ministry maintains a constructive dialogue with the civil sector and listens sensitively to its requests regarding the quality and accessibility of medical care for the population.
“Our Consumer Rights Protection Coalition intends to continue to actively promote the agenda of pressing healthcare issues, in particular, we are concerned about equality in access to medical care for rural residents, drug provision, the operation of information systems, the effectiveness of the epidemiological service, the quality of medical services, issues of financing and OSMS. These topics are regularly raised on our public platforms, they have a great response, but we lack feedback from your departments,” said Murat Abenov.
He expressed his readiness to join forces with the Ministry of Health in each of these areas in order to defend the rights of patients, ensure that the audience is informed and create a productive dialogue with all stakeholders.
