MOTHERS’ COUNCIL HELD A RELIGIOUS ILLITERACY ERADICATION FOR STUDENTS IN ATYRAU REGION

In accordance with the work plan of the Mothers’ Council "Altyn shanyrak" at the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan of Atyrau region for 2019, “Kogamdyk kelisim” MPI organized a meeting with students of the Atyrau service college on the theme "Youth and religion".    

The main purpose of the meeting is to reveal the religious literacy of young people, to call for patriotism, morality, respect for the culture and traditions of the Kazakh people.

Theologist-religionist of the public foundation "Shapagat" M. Omarov told the youth about the history of the emergence of Islamic religion in the Kazakh land, gave a legal assessment of the current religious situation in the country. He called on young people to religious enlightenment and literacy, to observe national traditions, to respect parents. He also noted the negative impact on the integrity of the family of religious divisions emerging in society.

In turn, students asked questions and received answers from competent specialists.
