More than 300 kindergartens to open in Kazakhstan
Vice Minister of Education Sholpan Karinova said that the license as a tool to confirm the readiness of the organization will allow to check the conditions for children at the opening of the kindergarten, El.kz reports with reference to the official Facebook page of the vice minister.
"Only this year, thanks to state support, more than 300 kindergartens are opening, and half of them are private, 140 have already opened for more than 10 thousand places," Sholpan Karinova wrote.
She also noted that the licensing will definitely not lead to closing gardens.
"The conditions for the functioning of kindergartens should be the same, both in public and private, since our children are brought up there and our teachers work there," Sholpan Karinova emphasized.
The Vice Minister added that preschool education is the only level of education that is not currently licensed. Although licensing, as a verification mechanism at the entrance, was carried out until 2011.
"Now there is a need to return this procedure, numerous resonance cases of child abuse are forcing parents and the public to turn to state bodies in search of justice. In this case, the license as a tool for confirming readiness will allow you to check the conditions for children when opening a kindergarten. Qualification requirements will include the minimum set of necessary conditions for children, as is done in many countries of the world: the availability of teachers, video cameras, educational materials, compliance with sanitary and fire standards, the presence of their own or rented building. For conscientious entrepreneurs and well-functioning gardens, licensing is absolutely inexpensive," Sholpan Karinova explained.
Earlier it was reported that the licensing of kindergartens will be carried out in stages from 2024 and will be an automated process.
Vice Minister of Education Sholpan Karinova said that licensing kindergartens will make it possible to objectively assess the situation in creating conditions for the upbringing of children.
