Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan sign cooperation agreement
A meeting of the Ministers of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Vilayat Eyvazov and the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Akhmetzhanov was held in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku, El.kz news agency reports with reference to the Polisia.kz.
The meeting noted the strategic relations that closely connect the peoples of the two countries, the atmosphere of trust and respect between the states, as well as the dynamic development of cooperation.
The parties discussed cooperation in the field of protecting public order, countering transnational crime, increasing information interaction, as well as the effectiveness of ensuring the safety of citizens and their rights from criminal encroachments.
Marat Akhmetzhanov informed his colleague about the modernization of the internal affairs bodies, ensuring the protection of public order and the fight against crime in the country.
The participants of the meeting signed a Memorandum on strengthening cooperation between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
