Ministers of Sports of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan discuss preparations for 5th World Nomad Games
The Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan Chyngyz Esengul uulu within the framework of the 5th World Nomad Games in Astana, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Yermek Marzhikpayev thanked for the cooperation and noted that 89 countries have already confirmed their participation in sports competitions.
"In preparation for the Games, a license agreement was signed for the use of the logo and brand "World Nomad Games" with the copyright holder, the Public Association "Children's Olympic Village of the Kyrgyz Republic".
In accordance with the recommendations of the Bishkek office of the WNG Secretariat, we have taken into account a number of mandatory requirements aimed at preserving the traditions of holding the Games. In particular, the element of Water is necessarily present on the logo, as the main sacred symbol of the WNG," said the Head of tourism and sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan
According to him, at the opening ceremony of the games, the parade of athletes will be opened by representatives of the Kyrgyz Republic. The anthem written by the famous Kyrgyz composer Emil Kenzhekulov will also be performed.
As part of the sports program of the 5th World Nomad Games in Astana, it is planned to hold competitions in 21 sports, where 97 sets of medals will be played. The program of the Nomad Games includes events in all three areas: sports, culture and science.
