Minister of Information of Kazakhstan meets with Head of OSCE Programme Office in Astana

Today, the Minister of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Darkhan Kydyrali met with the head of the OSCE Programme Office in Astana Volker Frobart, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the draft law "On Mass Media", which is widely discussed today, aimed at improving the status of a journalist. "They also discussed the adoption of a separate law aimed at regulating the activities of online platforms and Internet advertising, amending the law on access to information," the report said. At the end of the meeting, the parties - expressed their mutual desire to continue the implementation of joint projects.
