The Hungarian capital hosted a concert by the “Turan” ethno-folklore ensemble. The performances of the ensemble were organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Hungary and the Magyar-Turan Foundation with the support of Qazaq Concert as part of a European tour dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the musical group, El.kz cites MFA.
Hungary is no stranger to the “Turan” ensemble, which has performed many times in different years at the Kurultaj (gathering) of the Turan and Magyar peoples. Hungarian fans of Kazakh music came from different parts of the country to listen to samples of folk-instrumental and song genres, the sound of which is distinguished by the highest performance skills and powerful energy.
The audience was able to enjoy the sound of ancient Kazakh folk instruments such as “Kobyz”, “Zhetygen”, “Sybyzgy” and etc. Everyone who came to the concert once again enjoyed the magnificent music of the Great Steppe. During the performances of “Turan – Mangilik”, “Shabyt”, “Akku”, “Aksak Kulan”, “Orteke”, “Kerogly”, “Qazaq Eli”, “Qara Zhorga”, “Er Turan” and etc., one can hear love for their native land, freedom and the desire to conquer new highs.
The audience was struck by the beauty of the artists' costumes, their emotionality and energy. The ensemble's hour and a half performance flew by in a piercing and bright instance. After the concert, the audience shared vivid impressions: “The music of the soul, the music of the Kazakh people helped us feel all of its beauty, strength and power”, “The sounds of the dombra and kobyz, which came to us from ancient times, excite our kindred hearts and fill them with pride”.
The final concert of the “Turan” ensemble as part of its European tour took place in the Buda Castle Garden Bazaar (Hungarian name – Varkert Bazaar), one of the architectural gems of Budapest, and ended with a loud and unstoppable ovation. It is important to note the inspired, enthusiastic faces of the audience after the concert. The modern sound, virtuoso mastery of the instrument, powerful energy and vivid presentation captivate the spirit of the audience and make the project “Turan” unique.
