Melodies of Endless Steppe" – Music of Independent Kazakhstan was Performed in Hungary
Concert of the Dina Nurpeisova Academic Orchestra of Kazakh Folk Instruments was held. The performance of the ensemble, dedicated to the Independence Day, is organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Hungary with the support of the Akimat of Atyrau region, El.kz cites MFA.
On the stage of the new concert hall of the House of Music of Hungary sounded compositions of great Kazakh and world classics – Dina Nurpeisova, Kurmangazy, Zhaiau Musa, Akhmet Zhubanov, Nurgisa Tlendiev, Yevgeny Brusilovsky, as well as Johann Strauss.
In the concert program the audience heard the sound of Kazakh folk instruments and appreciated the rich creative musical repertoire. The sound of the orchestra is characterized by great dynamics, the audience was interested in the compositions “Balbyrauyn”, “Korkyt”. And when the blows on the strings of the dombra became stronger, as if the horses were racing across the steppe in a furious rhythm, the orchestra performed the famous kyu “Adai”. As the enthusiastic audience said afterwards: "Hearing the music and songs, the most inexplicable feelings occurred. Folk music always reflects the events of ancient times. We heard the musical heritage of the Great Steppe, which was born by nomadic peoples. Kazakh people are naturally very talented, endowed with a rich culture, and a beautiful voice". Also a surprise for the audience was the performance of “Hungarian Dances No. 5” by Johannes Brahms.
The audience was amazed by the beauty of the artists' costumes, their emotionality and energy. An hour and a half of the ensemble's performance flew by in one breath.
The public warmly received each performance and afterwards shared their impressions of the concert. “What wonderful concert of the famous ensemble Academic Orchestra of Kazakh Folk Instruments named after Dina Nurpeisova"!, the audience said. Professional performance, national costumes, thought-out program left no one untouched, the Hungarian audience thanked the artists with great applause.
It is important to note the inspired, enthusiastic faces of the audience. The powerful energy of “kyu tartys” and virtuoso mastery of the dombra, demonstration of their musical abilities, playing technique, bright presentation fascinated the spirit of the audience.
