Meeting of intergovernmental commission of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan held in Tashkent
A meeting of the joint Intergovernmental Commission on Bilateral Cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Uzbekistan was held in Tashkent, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education .
On the first day of the visit, a bilateral meeting was held under the leadership of the Vice Minister of Higher Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.A. Yergaliyev and the First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan K.Kh. Karimov.
One of the issues of cooperation between the two countries at the meeting was the opening of branches of universities on a parity basis.
During the visit, the delegation visited partner universities, such as the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers, Chirchik State Pedagogical University, Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports.
At the end of the first day, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the South Kazakhstan University named after M. Auezov and the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports.
