The Organizing Committee of the 2024 Summer Olympics presented the official mascots of the upcoming Games in Paris, El.kz reports with reference to the telegram channel of the Kazakh National Olympic Comittee.
The mascots of the Olympics are two Phrygian caps, named Phrygi. The Phrygian cap is an ancient headdress that was a symbol of the French Revolution of 1789 and the republican system.
It is noteworthy that both mascots are female.
By the way, the last time France hosted the Games was in 1992. Then the mascot of the Games was Gnome Majik.
