Elections were held on October 29 in a number of oblasts, including Abay, Aktobe, Almaty, East Kazakhstan and others, as well as in the city of Almaty. As a result, two regional, seven city and 12 district deputies of maslikhats were elected. 232 election commissions of various levels were involved in the organization and conduct of the elections.
