On July 8 this year, Kanat Sharlapayev, Minister of Industry and Construction of Kazakhstan visited the 14th International Industrial Exhibition "Innoprom" in Yekaterinburg. This exhibition is one of the platforms for demonstrating industrial achievements and establishing international relations, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the department.

Within the framework of the exhibition, Kanat Sharlapayev held a meeting with the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Anton Alikhanov, within the framework of which promising areas of trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia, including cooperative interaction, were discussed.

He also met with the Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade. The parties discussed the prospects for investment cooperation and the implementation of joint projects in the field of high technology and energy.

In addition, the Minister met with Governor of Sverdlovsk Region of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Kuyvashev. During the discussions, issues of strengthening interregional ties and possible projects in the field of mechanical engineering and metallurgy were considered.

Further, Kanat Sharlapayev took part in regular meetings of the Council for Industrial Policy of the EAEU and the CIS, within the framework of which draft strategic and sectoral documents aimed at further development of industrial cooperation of the participating countries were considered.

The exhibition presents the national expositions of Belarus, the United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Delegations from Armenia, Serbia, Cuba, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Oman, India, Thailand, Pakistan, Turkey and other countries are also participating. The main sections of the exhibition include metalworking, component manufacturing, energy, automation and robotics, digital manufacturing, and other key industries.

During the event, representatives of government agencies and enterprises held a number of bilateral meetings, following which they signed cooperation agreements. This opens up new opportunities for joint projects and investments, contributing to active international cooperation and the development of Kazakhstan's industrial sector.

The Ministry of Industry and Construction continues to actively work on strengthening international relations and promoting domestic industrial companies in the world market.
