Korea's KEPCO to conduct survey of several power plants in Kazakhstan
The Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Almasadam Satkaliyev held a meeting with the vice presidents of the Korean electric power corporations "KEPCO" and "DOOSAN Energy" with Mr. Shin Jung-kyung and Young Yoon-H, as well as with other representatives of companies, during which the parties discussed the issue of the upcoming survey of the condition of several power plants in Kazakhstan for further investment, El.kz reports with reference to the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
It is planned that KEPCO will conduct a pilot survey of Topar CHPPs, Astana, Pavlodar, Almaty.
"Based on the results of the survey, we expect your expert assessment on the prospects for further operation of the stations, modernization and improvement of their environmental performance," the Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan said during the meeting
The head of the Ministry of Energy assured that the ministry will provide the company with the necessary support.
