Key areas of bilateral cooperation with Kazakhstan discussed at U.S. Department of State
The U.S. Department of State hosted a meeting between Yerzhan Ashikbayev, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United States, and Richard Verma, U.S. Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources,El.kz cites MFA.
The discussion focused on the current state and prospects for strengthening the Enhanced Strategic Partnership between Kazakhstan and the United States.
A key topic of the meeting was the implementation of agreements reached during the “C5+1” Summit in September 2023. Both sides also noted with satisfaction the outcomes of recent high-level visits, which have played a significant role in deepening political dialogue and strengthening mutual trust.
Ambassador Ashikbayev emphasized the importance of practical implementation of the agreements reached on expanding bilateral trade and attracting American investments into Kazakhstan's economy.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining an active and constructive dialogue at all levels, underscoring the importance of joint efforts to further strengthen political and economic cooperation and to promote sustainable development and stability in the region.
