Kazakhstan became the first state in the world to introduce a training program on blockchain engineering. The Global University Outreach Program, launched in 2022 in the Republic of Kazakhstan, has integrated the basics of blockchain into the academic courses of 22 universities. To date, more than 300 teachers have already been trained, and this fall, 4,000 Kazakh students began to study blockchain, El.kz reports.

Today it became known that on the example of Kazakhstan, the Global University Outreach Program will be integrated into the academic space of more than 200 universities in 50 countries around the world. It is estimated that by 2026, more than a million students will be educated through this initiative.

The joint project consists of two educational programs:

- Blockchain Engineering: Provides a holistic approach to understanding blockchain technology-based development, including BNB Chain fundamentals, Web3 development, and Solidity.

- Blockchain Compliance: Includes an analysis of various existing global regulatory frameworks, explores legal issues, and provides insight into potential future digital asset governance models.

The interest of young specialists and teachers from Kazakhstan allowed this educational program to expand its geography and provide training opportunities for students and staff of educational institutions in regions from Latin America to Africa, Asia and Europe
