Kazakhstan's trade turnover with EAEU countries has increased
In January-March 2023, the trade turnover of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the EAEU countries amounted to 6,629 million US dollars, which in nominal terms is 11.6% more compared to the same period last year, El.kz reports with reference to BNS.
In January-March 2023 exports of goods amounted to 2,598.1 million US dollars (41.5% more), imports - 4,031 million US (less by 1.8%).
In the total volume of foreign trade turnover of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the EAEU countries, the Russian Federation occupies 92%, Kyrgyzstan - 4.7%, Belarus - 3.2% and Armenia - 0.1%.
The largest share in exports with the EAEU countries is occupied by machinery, equipment, vehicles, instruments and apparatus - 29.4%, followed by products of the chemical and related industries - 25.2%.
The structure of imports from the EAEU countries is dominated by products of animal and vegetable origin, finished food products - 20.8%, metals and products from them - 18.5%, as well as mineral products - 13%.
