Kazakhstan’s trade and investment potential presented in Luxembourg
Investment and trade opportunities of Kazakhstan were presented at the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce. The event was attended by more than 30 representatives of state and commercial entities of the Grand Duchy, representing the transport, chemical, medical and other industries, El.kz cites MFA.
In his speech, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan Margulan Baimukhan noted the dynamic development of trade and investment relations between the countries, emphasized the active efforts of the Kazakh Government to support foreign investors. Particular attention was paid to the economic reforms initiated by the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The participants of the event were also informed about the advantages of the Astana International Financial Center, preferences for foreign investors, as well as the activities of Kazakh Invest JSC to support foreign investors. In addition, the transport and logistics potential of our country was presented to Luxembourg businessmen, including the activities of 13 international transport corridors that pass through the territory of Kazakhstan.
The Ambassador of Luxembourg to Kazakhstan Tom Reisen noted that Kazakhstan is a transport, logistics and financial hub of Central Asia, which provides great opportunities for Luxembourg companies.
In turn, the Representative of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce Sabrina Aksil noted the high interest of Luxembourg companies in enhancing cooperation with Kazakh economic entities, in particular in the field of IT and financial services.
The event was also attended by representatives of the BeNeLux Chamber of Commerce, as well as MOST Ventures, who presented the export potential of Kazakhstan and the possibilities of cooperation with Kazakh IT companies.
