Kazakhstan's Rhythmic Gymnastics Team Takes 2nd Place at Asian Championships
The licensed Asian Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship has ended in Tashkent, the press service of the Directorate for Sports Development of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported, El.kz reports.
The national team of Kazakhstan demonstrated a high level of skill, taking the second honorable place in the overall standings with a score of 321.60 points. The victory in this prestigious competition was won by the national team of Uzbekistan, which collected 329.45 points, while the third place was taken by the team of Japan, which scored 316.85 points.
In individual competitions, Elzhana Taniyeva, who had previously become the champion in the all-around, took first place (33.90) in the exercise with a hoop, fourth with a ribbon (31.05), fifth with a mace (30.80), and third with a ball (32.60). Another Kazakhstani Aibota Ertaikyzy showed the third result in the exercise with a hoop (33.25), with a ribbon (32.90) - the first, with a mace (30.15) - the sixth, with a ball - (32.65) the second.
