Kazakhstan's positive experience in implementing an international program to assess the educational competencies of schoolchildren was noted at the round table "PISA-2022: Lessons for Eurasian Countries". The lessons of our country's participation in the PISA-2022 study were presented in the report of the Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gani Beisembayev, which was introduced to the meeting participants by the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to international organizations in Paris Askar Abdrakhmanov. It indicates that Kazakhstan's results in PISA were influenced by the introduction of important educational initiatives implemented with the full support of the Head of State.

Elizabeth Fordham, Senior Advisor to the OECD Directorate for Education and Skills, noted that despite the global deterioration in PISA indicators after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, Kazakhstan managed to maintain indicators in solving mathematical problems and assessing reading skills, and showed significant progress in science.

Representatives of Moldova and Armenia also spoke at the meeting.

The OECD is an authoritative international organization known for the development of high standards of economic development, public administration and social reforms, including in the field of education.
