Kazakhstan's Kirill Gerasimenko wins silver at tennis tournament in Lebanon

Kazakhstan's Kirill Gerasimenko won a silver medal in the international table tennis tournament WTT Feeder Beirut El.kz reports citing NOC.

The opponent of the Kazakhstani was the famous racket master, world champion in doubles, 10-time medalist of the Asian Championship Chuang Chi-Yuan (Taipei).

The match turned out to be extremely spectacular, competitive and ended in favor of the titled Taipei with a score of 3:1.

Before the final, Gerasimenko won four convincing victories, including over the silver and bronze medalist of the European Championships Gionis Panagiotis (Greece) and the bronze medalist of the Asian Championship in the team competition Satiyan Gnanasekaryan (India).

There are also two bronze medals in the piggy bank of Kazakhstan's athletes Aidos Kenzhigulov/Alan Kurmangaliev and Zauresh Akasheva/Sarvinoz Mirkadirova.
