Kazakhstan's foreign trade turnover reaches $102 billion in 2023
In the period from January to October 2023, Kazakhstan demonstrates significant economic progress, Minister of National Economy Alibek Kuantyrov said at a government meeting, El.kz reports.
The country's economy grew by 4.9%, with growth in the real sector by 3.8% and in the service sector by 5.4%. Outstanding results were shown by construction, trade, information technology, communications and transport. Investments in fixed assets increased by 12.6%
In addition, Vice Minister of Finance Dauren Temirbekov presented data on the execution of the republican budget. During this period, the state budget received 15.5 trillion tenge of revenues, which is 98.3% of the plan. The republican budget was replenished by 10.5 trillion tenge, local budgets - by 5.1 trillion tenge. State budget expenditures were executed by 98.2%, republican - by 99.4%, local - by 97.2%.
Kazakhstan's foreign trade turnover also shows positive dynamics, increasing by 2.4% to $102 billion. Exports amounted to more than $57 billion, including exports of processed goods - $18 billion, and imports of goods - more than $44 billion, ensuring a positive trade balance of $13 billion
