The number of passengers transported by air has increased. In January-May 2022, 3.6 million people were transported by air transport, which is 7.7% more than the same period last year, El.kz reports with reference to the Bureau of National Statistics.
Passenger traffic from January to May this year amounted to 5,877.1 million / p-km, which is 20% higher compared to the same period of 2021.
The main share of passengers flies from Almaty - 2.5 million passengers.
Corporate income from passenger transportation amounted to 157,650 million tenge.
